SAY SKIN AURORA Selected for Excellence in Industrial Design at the Good Design Award

 

The beauty care device brand SAY SKIN by WITHNIX has earned recognition for its AURORA+ (PLUS)

as an Outstanding Industrial Design in the Product Design category of the 2019 Good Design Award.

Inspired by the structure of human skin, the AURORA+ maximizes the contact area with the skin through a single curved surface design,

free from any angular edges. This emphasizes both the elegance of curved aesthetics and a minimalist appeal.

 

The design incorporates ergonomic considerations,

with dimensions derived from the overlap of the smallest and largest hand sizes in the 5th percentile sample, as well as the average hand size.

The layout ensures that the plasma discharge effect is maximized by achieving the optimal angle between the two heads of the device.

Additionally, the head of the AURORA+ is made with Zirconia ceramic material, commonly used in dental prosthetics,

reflecting the product's commitment to eco-friendliness.
